Winner of the Points is........

Andrew Mitchell Points

We had a disappointing entry to this years competition with 17. But that didn't take away from the quality of shot making on display. Kenneth Macgregor (Meldrum & Daviot) won this years Points, while Rebecca Morrison (Meldrum & Daviot) won the Ladies and Junior Points. The Team Points were won by Meldrum & Daviot with 4 of their club members scoring a combined highest of any other 4 from the same club.

Scottish Championship Announcement

This is taken from the website
The Royal Caledonian Curling Club (RCCC) has today announced the introduction of ticketed entry for the men’s and women’s finals of the Scottish Curling Championships at Dewars Centre, Perth in 2016 with tickets going on sale this week.
This marks a significant step forward for the annual flagship event which showcases Scotland’s curling stars and future champions in competition for the national titles and the right to represent Scotland at the World Curling Championships. Ticketing will be introduced for the men’s and women’s finals only (on 20th February) with all sessions from 13th to 19th February including the semi-finals remaining free spectator entry.
With curling a major sporting focus in Scotland ahead of the Le Gruyère European Curling Championships at Braehead in 2016 (which will also be ticketed), this initiative will ensure curling fans can secure their seats at the Scottish Championship finals and look forward to experiencing curling at its best in Perth’s world-class facility.
Ticketing is just one of several new developments in the Championships this season which also sees the semi-finals move to Friday night and the finals to Saturday (previously Sunday) offering spectators excellent prime time curling and social opportunities. Members of the public can also Try Curling at special on ice taster sessions led by qualified RCCC coaches between scheduled sessions at the semi finals and finals.
SC CHAMP VECTOR RGBTickets will go on sale to RCCC members on Friday 18thDecember 2015 with a member discount code and booking link featured in the December issue of the RCCC’s member ezine Your Curler.
Tickets will go on sale to the public on Monday 21stDecember with links available via this website and the governing body’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
Tickets will be sold separately for each final so you’ll need one ticket for each session should you wish to attend both. A pre-booked hot buffet lunch option will also be available to purchase in advance.
All seating will be located rink side in the ice hall for the finals and tickets are limited so book early to avoid disappointment. Tickets will only be available to purchase online and all orders will receive a free digital programme before the event.
